But the cute thing today were April's (~2 years old) reactions to my computer. Specifically, my computer's speech synthesis program, which I was using to type in lines of text for it to speak to her. It didn't take her long to realize that it was the computer talking to her (though I'm not sure if she'd've made that connection if the speakers were in a different room), but thereafter, she commented on "The man in the computer" or "The girl in the computer".

At one point, she was trying to assault my laptop, which I leave on an end table by the couch she was sitting on, so I had the computer say "April, please don't touch the computer." She immediately complied, leaning back away from the table. When I asked her why she did that, she responded, "Because the man in the computer told me to ... but it's ok now," and promptly resumed her assult.
